(and others)

what do you think about premade homes?

Don't know if they are called that. but they are the ones that are pre-built and then assembled on the spot.
So walls etc are premade, then carried to the field and then assembled there.

It seems they are cheaper than conventionally built houses.

But are they safe?

what would you say are the advantages and disadvantages of pre-made houses?

dank u weil

(as a disdvantage i know that they cant be modified once they're built. aka you can't add/build another store on top of the house once it's finished. the dream of a garden and parking lot is drawing nearererr param)

advantage is less money, quick building time
disadvantage = normally the design is not that good.
quality is quite well

advantage = no architectje

Seriously, as always, you can get a high quality prefabricated house that can be planned rather freely, or a shabby box with a lousy fixed floor plan. Many offers check you must, jesjes....

The people assembling on-site need to be checked out thoroughly beforehand.

It's "high quality" until the plumber or electrician starts taking stupid shortcuts, or they skimp and don't use the right number of nails to put the shingles on the roof.

...or walls don't fit together just right, and they saw through a wall stud or two to relieve the strain.
