Yeah, was amazing.

To quote someone probably not so pleased "football, bloody hell."

Back!

well, now Dzeko-Aguero will be almost as famous as Solskjaer-Sheringham

to be noted that when Bolton overturned the match in Stoke, then QPR needed a point to avoid relegation
but then when Stoke equalised, QPR were safe even with a defeat, and they lost...

The premiership is real like WWE, not fake like boxing.

(with thanks to the writers of Futurama)

Oh and those comments about city 'buying the title' are starting to annoy me.

Funko

Yes.

All the top clubs have spent a fortune, and it's impossible to compete without doing so. And it doesn't guarantee success. Liverpool, for instance, spent a fortune and bought a pile of shit.

And now they sack Dalglish :(

Dear Henry, stop spending money in football and think about the poor Red Sox tywm.

8th really isn't good enough for them but I'd have thought they'd still give him another season. He did win the pointless cup and get to the final of the FA cup anyway.

Now they are expecting a "big name" manager to come in, and have apparently dismissed some great candidates like Martinez as not being high profile enough. More fool them.

Well, it's John Henry, you should expect unforgivingness from a machine.
Once the "I give you tons of money to spend but I expect a finish in the top four" deal was broken there was not much else to do.

Signings were poor, altho if Downing and Carroll made the England team they can't be that bad... dunno.

Also, I'm not sure how the whole Evra-Suarez story has been perceived in the uk but reading the sport section of the boston herald daily there was some heavy criticism on how Dalglish handled that stuff, could have been a factor in the decision.

They made the squad, we can only hope they get nowhere near the England team!

REally? Who's starting up front then? Defoe?

Yes, absolutely. What they should have done was have Suarez apologise immediately, and say they were sending him on cultural sensitivity training or something. Making clear that they understand that kind of language is unacceptable. I suspect if it hadn't been Manchester United they might have reacted in less of an "Us and them" way.

Pffft, You were Liverpool in disguise yesterday.

Oh, and England away jersey is horrible, I hope you don't have to wear it a lot.

Seemed like it was an ok start then they realised norway were rubbish and got bored.

Looks like Carroll and Downing might start. Ugh.

Great that we have so many players from that brilliant, successful liverpool team.

The number of Liverpool players in the squad is increasing day by day

We might be as successful of them. 8th or so.

Well we have a habit of limping into the QFs and losing, so that's par for the course...

Oh and I've decided I don't like Roy Hodgson any more.:(

so England is ugly and boring and France is fancied again... all set up nicely for us to lose 1-0, with a goal from the ass of Carroll while Benzema strikes the bar 5 times .

I haven't checked before 1960 but it seems there has never been an England squad without Liverpool players in it. The fewest was the 1992 euros selection with just one Liverpool player (Mark Wright)

I'm sure you were all awaiting with anticipation this tidbit of crucial info.

You should send that into The Knowledge and get them to check!
