Only two episodes in and already there's not a dry eye in the house!

Skins remains great.

Have Skins fans been watching Misfits?

Not the same, but very good.

If I watched everything I want to watch on TV, I would seriously have no life...

Is it just me or has the format of each season of skins pretty much the same?

I'm not sure the order is identical but each season seems to have:

A new guy/girl going on a wild rampage with someone episode
A psychedelic episode where all is not it all seems
A death and subsequent "finding a way to get over it" episode.

Seems they have a formula and now its just the characters that change, although even they seem to fit a pattern now.

and second series with the cast is darker than the first.

maybe you can adjust the settings on your tv a bit brighter then

Killing off a character very early in a series is a distinct departure.
