As bad as the honey badger is, do not fuck with the Golden Eagle. Just don't do it.

It's a 10 pound bird with a 9 foot wingspan that kills wolves and deer.

On the killing wolves and deer part (excluding newborns I suppose).

"They have even been known to attack and kill fully grown roe deer. The Eurasian subspecies is used to hunt and kill wolves in many native communities, where their status is regarded with great mystic reverence."

I guess that means they can be trained to kill big things, but it's not their favorite pastime.

Yeah, I read that too (after posting). The videos of the wolf hunts are interesting.

We've had occasional conversations/arguments at work about the biggest predators we thought we could take on bare handed. I voted 30 pound bobcat. I think I could kill one and get myself to a hospital without bleeding to death. Badgers and raccoons are popular choices, one smartass thinks he could take a wolverine. Raccoons are pretty badass and can be huge, and everyone knows about badgers... and Tasmanian devils:lol:

Grabbing and simply falling on it until things broke, or swinging it like a club into a tree trunk or car were the favored kill methods.

And bears:

There is one confirmed report of a Golden Eagle snatching the cub of a Brown Bear.[18]
