Yeah, he was doing a children's show or something on Thursday night. I missed that.

Festival was amazing, though. Free, free and even free.

Friday:

I started with Blame Sally and stayed for the Mekons. Kathleen was watching David Bromberg and then saw the last part of the Mekons. We both went to see the Felice Brothers, M.Ward and Bright Eyes to end the day. Felice Brothers and Bright Eyes were the two performances I most wanted to see and they did not disappoint.

Saturday: started with Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, moved to see Hugh Laurie, tried to see Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson, but was so jammed with people all we could do is listen as we moved on to Ryan Bingham, Reckless Kelly and the Flatlanders.

Sunday: started with Low Anthem, which was the big draw for Kathleen. Then listened to Buddy Miller from the adjacent stage, then Dr. John, then moved to see Ollabelle, Justin Townes Earle and the Jayhawks to finish the day.

It is an incredible festival, especially when the weather cooperates as it did for us. There is no better place to people watch than San Francisco. Golden Gate Park is beautiful.

I assume the explanation for this is that Greg has forgotten he is Facebook Friends with Lurker?
