...by talking about eating 7 cupcakes? Paul Newman can eat fifty eggs, and he's got his own brand of food. Lightweights.

I will be hard to miss today in my "that guy's a tourist" West Virginia jacket and Pi/Pie t-shirt. Hopefully nerdy enough.

Funko and Tizzy are very patient and nice and I did my best to not be boring.

I will never believe anything bad about Sophie, because she was an angel the entire time. This has nothing to do with cute baby mind control.

I forgot to take a picture of the giant lion in the park by the ruined abbey (and anything else) because I'm dumb. We walked around and saw the canals, the abbey, the lion/war memorial, Queen Victoria's statue, and the prison (now for juveniles).

The pub had fish and chips, and they were good (despite the smashed peas, which I do not like, they are only good uncooked in the shell). They also had Franziskaner on tap, which is hard for me to find in any form.

Trains are nearly as easy as the London Underground, although I did have help with the trains. I also did not know Mrs. MDA had my return ticket when the machine took my arrival ticket in Reading, but that is not an important or funny thing at all.

You missed out the bit where you had the ticket man opening the ticket box on the gate to try and get your ticket back, only for him to tell you you should have another half?

Was great to meet you both.

I love that your wife's reaction was to walk away and pretend not to know you.

and that she didn't trust you enough to look after your own return ticket in the first place. :D

She's the smart one.

Although she thought she'd left our passports at Agriculture when we got home (they disinfect your shoes if you admit to having been on any pastureland; hoof and mouth, bluetongue, or something). I had them. I did not give them to her, but I did not lose them! I'm probably still wrong.

Also, the bruise I got smashing my hand between the door handle and the bathroom wall at the pub has faded a little, but spread from my second knuckle almost to the first. Totally worth it.

Did you tell her you had them before or after she phoned up to see if they had them?

MDA

before!

I think you are probably in the clear then, unless there is a standing order that you are not allowed to be in possession of any kind of important documentation for any period of time when you don't directly need it to be in your possession. I imagine there might be such a rule.
