Sometimes you feel like there is a pattern emerging, and it's not just your imagination.

WOW

without a frame reference tho, this gives no information about either Mobius' eventual judgment bias, or the actual quality of the movie industry, but just a measure of the interaction between the two
(in plain words, we could have had a year of terrible movies but Mobius is very easily pleasd, or as well an exceptional year full of masterpieces but Mobius' standards are impossible to reach, and that data doesn't help us make it clear)

:cute:

btw, which has been his sole ten?

a pattern emerging, ...imagination.

slowly emerging, like a... snail?

I don't know!

the 1/10 was Harry Potter 7 though.

This is completely accurate.

Will the fact that this has been statisticated by me affect his scores?

We could use another larger scale reference site, eg. Rotten Tomatoes/IMDB and compare their scores for each of those movies, and get their average. See how it compares with his 74.8%.

Further potential explanations:

he's quite well informed about movies and tends to go and see better than average ones.

or

he tends to go and see movies he thinks he will enjoy, and tries to avoid ones he thinks he wont enjoy

Yes and yes. Maybe a Venn diagram might work to explain this.

HP7 Part 1 got a shockingly bad score from me because I felt that I'd got terribly ripped off as it was much worse than I thought it was going to be. Probably more a 4/10 if I really think about it now, from what I can remember as I have managed to expunge it quite successfully from the memory banks already.

HP7 Part 2 was a 6/10 BTW, I think I forgot to rate it...

That would be interesting if someone could be bothered to do it... :cute:

Think I'm going to see a bunch of crap movies on purpose just to get this score down.
