I'm surprised you hadn't heard it in your news already

apparently, the "safety" net was attached to the same lorry supporting the cannon, and the lorry recoiled from the cannon shot, making the netting snap and collapse...

not that I'm really really sad about a brit stunt I'd never heard before... I'm just amazed at how many people still strive to qualify for the Darwin Awards
