We're having a lot of crap done to our house, like rewiring, we have a google doc to keep track of what's going on and what it's costing.

I called that document "house upgrade".

Tizzy thought that was funny. But what else would you call it?

"LOVE NEST" ?

:)

better than "amelioration" anyway
she could've asked: "WHO'S this Amelia?!?!?!?"

We also discovered that half our basement is basically a room, just not really converted. And filled with old furniture and a loo seat.

When they pulled the floorboards up to do the rewiring. Before it was behind a wall, under a floor.

I didn't go down there...

Mr_B suggested we turn the remaining space into a room with a pool table and a bar.

Can't think of any better use for it!

Other than a dungeon to place the Aussie in when he comes to visit if his wine offerings aren't enough to placate the preggers one. :tizzy:

:D

Electrics are done.
Cleaners are currently there cleaning up dust out of everything.
This weekend I'm taking rubble to the tip, touching up plaster and sanding stuff down, fiddling with ethernet cables ready for.
Painters coming in on Monday.

A week monday we move back in. *fingers crossed*

Cheshire Cat

It never actually occurred to me, till you brought up the issue in the above post
He's too busy trying to become a proffesional hold'em player, the desperate fewl

You can't be healed of the sickness that is CG. It's like herpes, it may go away for a bit, but it always comes back.
