Right, is this all on? Who's coming?

I assume we'll meet at the Round Table as usual? Or dare we try something different?

MDA

See everyone by now ( other than Lurker, spill spill) knows how to be drunk at the Roundtable. If you change it people will get lost!!!

Lurker
03-06-2010, 18:19:24
 I remember complaining about how I got lost after our meet and couldn’t find the tube station. Then Nav reminded me that when he went his separate ways I was already in the tube station.

That might give a hint as to why you were lost and couldn't find it.

Nav
17-06-2010, 11:32:07
Count me in, Round Table is about a 2 min walk from my office now, so I can work in the morning too (gah!)

lol @ MDA (and I don't remember that!)

MDA
17-06-2010, 12:22:59
My handler is thinking about us going to London for a vacation again sometime in the next year. I probably jinxed it by mentioning it.

zmama
17-06-2010, 13:30:10
and by calling her a handler :)

MDA
17-06-2010, 13:31:49

JM^3

JM

Hotel Ibis Euston- not too expensive, not too nasty

Still no idea if i can make it.

Thats what 8 month old babies do to your ability to organise anything.

JM^3
03-07-2010, 20:21:35
You have octoplets? :O

JM

Mr. Bas
04-07-2010, 01:46:36
London meets are so 2007. When is the East Coast meet?

JM^3
04-07-2010, 03:43:03
I wasn't close to New York this time.

JM

Asher
04-07-2010, 04:58:26
No one ever wants to meet in Toronto :(

Provost Harrison
04-07-2010, 08:47:43
No one ever wants to meet in Toronto :(

Feel free to have one. And invite all the Torontonians, Torontoites, Torontoese...well...whatever you call yourselves.

Asher
04-07-2010, 17:07:26
I tried to start one, only one other could can come (Thoth)

Provost Harrison
04-07-2010, 20:08:05
You should come across again, I never got to meet you last time. I think I was in Mexico City or something.

Asher
05-07-2010, 05:16:10
I've never been to a UK or US poly meet.

I've just met a handful of posters from Calgary...actually, only two. And only one still posts, and he only posts every couple years (Zylka).

I am sad :(

mr_B
05-07-2010, 05:30:02
now i am sad too :(

Funko
05-07-2010, 08:38:38
Asher, you should try living somewhere people want to visit.

MOBIUS
05-07-2010, 10:06:02
I'd be happy to visit Calgary - if it wasn't so far away...:p

Funko
05-07-2010, 10:10:42
Not toronto though. :)

Asher
05-07-2010, 13:36:40
You're in luck, I'm moving to Calgary in 2 weeks.

Lurker
05-07-2010, 14:00:49
Calgary is great. If airfares aren't outrageous I will probably go there in October. We can establish a new precedent for the furthereestest west CG meet.

Asher
05-07-2010, 14:09:33
I think Krill (don't know if you know him, he's British from theothersite) is also coming to Alberta in October. Or something. That could be fun.

Greg W
05-07-2010, 14:19:51
Pffft! When CGers come to Sydney, they don't tell me until after the fact! And you don't hear me whining about it! :cute:

Lurker
05-07-2010, 15:27:08
Asher, I'll keep you posted.

Greg, did I tell you I was in Sydney for the entire month of May?

Greg W
05-07-2010, 15:30:27
Nope! See what I mean!

Funko
05-07-2010, 15:41:17
I'm in Sydney now.

Lurker
05-07-2010, 15:47:27
I am mildly skeptical regarding the veracity of that post.

Funko
05-07-2010, 15:48:21
Accurately sceptical, if not accurately spelt.

Lurker
05-07-2010, 15:50:54
If I were in the UK, I'd spell it your way. "Skeptical" is easier to type than "Sceptical". FACT!

Greg W
05-07-2010, 15:53:35
I am mildly skeptical regarding the veracity of that post.Only mildly? Then I have a bridge to sell you next time you're in Sydney!

Funko
05-07-2010, 15:54:18
Yes, he'll sell you Sydney's London Bridge.

JM^3
05-07-2010, 15:56:49
What were you doing in Australia?

JM

Greg W
05-07-2010, 15:57:40
I live here!

Funko
05-07-2010, 15:57:48
Mostly lying about being there.

Lurker
05-07-2010, 15:58:35
I didn't lie about anything.

Funko
05-07-2010, 15:59:03
What kind of lawyer are you?

Funko
05-07-2010, 15:59:22
BTW I was talking about myself. o/c

Lurker
05-07-2010, 16:01:24
Oh, I think you misread JM's post. o/c

Lurker
05-07-2010, 16:02:11
What kind of lawyer are you?

 Probably a bad one.

JM^3
05-07-2010, 16:02:47
are landmarks a good investment in australia?

JM

Greg W
05-07-2010, 16:07:46
I think the only good investment in Australia is the return ticket!

zmama
05-07-2010, 16:24:28
I think spider repellent

Funko
05-07-2010, 16:26:18
Maussie repellent.

Mr. Bas
05-07-2010, 18:45:28
Greg! I'm in Australia next week. Are you coming over for a beer in Brisbane?

Greg W
06-07-2010, 01:34:45
Um. No. Brisbane is a 12 hour drive away!

Mr. Bas
06-07-2010, 14:16:42
With that kind of lousy attitude, you'll never get to a meet.

Greg W
06-07-2010, 14:44:07
I've been to one already! :p

Funko
12-07-2010, 08:26:33
So this is supposedly 2 weeks away is it happening?

Tizzy
12-07-2010, 08:57:17
I'll be there!

mr_B
12-07-2010, 09:01:45

JM^3
13-07-2010, 06:21:41

JM

mr_B
13-07-2010, 06:59:01
this post need some explaining

Funko
13-07-2010, 07:54:10

Lurker
13-07-2010, 13:39:22
I don't know what is going on but I think I have a plane ticket.

JM

 Raise hell, Jon.

JM^3
13-07-2010, 20:52:39
when is your plane coming? Have you got somewhere to stay?

I don't know, not yet.

I will look at the plane information early next week.

Probably will look for hotels than too.

JM

13-07-2010, 20:59:55
If it turns out to be London Ontario, it will be a Canadian meet instead.
