first a scot calls "typically german" an action perpetrated by a frenchman, a dutch, and a croat

then another dutch man retorts to the scot; "I though englishmen were fair play"

you can't make that up

Well, for a lot of non brits: english = brit. It's a common mistake.

And we know dutch are just germans who talk funny so..

Pretty hypocritical anyone from ManU complaining about players massing on the referee to get the opponents booked.

yep a sad case of sour grapes and nonsense all round

None of the top managers are good losers. Some are better at pretending to be gracious than others.

the sourness probably comes from knowing they fucked up royally, Man U should never have lost that... and in the semis there was a fairly average Lyon waiting...

in the end, though, it's better to avoid a spanking at the hands of a croocked leg argentinian midget

He could break his leg before the final comes round.

yeah, that's heartening for ManU, their only (slight) hope would have been to see the other players struck down by injuries... yay for the ambition to be the best club in the world
