I'll be making an 'informal enquiry' to Teela right away

Funko
09-12-2009, 10:57:02
I assume Teela is just her dancing name?

King_Ghidra
09-12-2009, 10:59:16
Either that or she comes from the future.

Funko
09-12-2009, 11:00:25
I assume that Lapdancers from the Future must have been made into a movie but I am not searching at work.

Well, the first google hit is a blog entitled: ConservativeHome's Parliament Page

You Brits and your wacky parliament goings on...

MDA

She could be He-man's sister...

that'd be hot

Funko
09-12-2009, 12:04:39
Teela was Man-at-Arms (adopted) daughter, and what passed for He-Man's/Adam's love interest. She-Ra was his twin sister. Stjoepit MDA!

King_Ghidra
09-12-2009, 13:01:36
He-Man is almost certainly the most incredibly brilliantly moronic hero name of all time.

King_Ghidra
09-12-2009, 13:03:22
btw i should add that his supporting cast 'The Masters of the Universe' are possibly the most inappropriately named and overhyped backup crew of all time too.

King_Ghidra
09-12-2009, 13:13:16
Though this sounds good:

Ancient Eternia was populated by many creatures, including cybernetic dinosaurs and giants.

Nills Lagerbaak
09-12-2009, 13:26:38
Surely "ancient eternia" is a geological impossibility.

King_Ghidra
09-12-2009, 13:27:24
I think i shall just keep talking to myself about He-Man in this thread.

Here are some of the choice 'Masters of the Universe':

Ram-Man is a sturdy warrior with poor verbal skills who runs down most of his obstacles.
Buzz-Off is a humanoid bee.
Mekaneck can stretch his neck to incredible lengths.
Fisto is an extra-strong warrior with an enlarged metal right hand.
Moss Man is a plant man who can revive dead plants and manipulate plant matter, mostly moss.
Snout Spout is an elephant-headed Eternian who can squirt water out of his trunk.

I for one do not welcome our massively underwhelming masters.

btw Fisto might be the most frightening and inappropriate toy ever

Surely "ancient eternia" is a geological impossibility.

But cybernetic dinosaurs are ok?

King_Ghidra
09-12-2009, 13:34:24
The bad guys are much more impressive. There are very few shit ones:

Two-Bad, a character with two heads that constantly argue between themselves.
Stinkor, an anthropomorphic skunk with magical control over his own stench

Yeah, I got it wrong, again. Has a similar conversation about He-man (and the Thundercats) at work about a month ago and got corrected there too.

Close run thing with "Ram Man" I think?

I remember Pete had the brilliantly/terribly named Mantenna.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mantenna

King_Ghidra
09-12-2009, 13:57:47
Mantenna is a nervous stuttering imbecile mainly used for comic relief, with a running gag that Hordak frequently sends him down a trap door in front of his throne for any number of reasons. Although, once or twice Mantenna actually turns the tables on Hordak and sends him plummeting down his own trap.

:D

But cybernetic dinosaurs are ok?

Much more than OK.

Funko
09-12-2009, 14:51:27
Why don't I have a cybernetic dinosaur to ride to work?

Nills Lagerbaak
09-12-2009, 14:53:56
oh... the rest of us do.

Funko
09-12-2009, 15:19:00
What is more environmentally friendly, a cybernetic dinosaur (with all the food they consume and methane they produce) or a relatively efficient petrol car?

Greg W
09-12-2009, 15:23:40
Maybe their cybernetics make them fission powered, no need for food or methane...

Nills Lagerbaak
09-12-2009, 15:25:55
Very little is known about the fuel requirements and efficiency of cybernetic dinosaurs. For shame.

cyborg dinosaurs > lapdancers

Greg W
10-12-2009, 14:06:22
But what about lapdancing cyborg dinosaurs?

Funko
10-12-2009, 14:19:31

Greg W
10-12-2009, 14:27:18
No idea, but this was the 7th image on a google search for just that...

Greg W

Still, pretty harsh work if that's NSFW!

King_Ghidra
10-12-2009, 15:05:38
'not safe for work' to me doesn't necessarily mean 'shows hardcore fucking' it means 'shows stuff that would not look good if you were seen viewing it while at work'

so 'wall of moronic text' is definitely sfw, while 'babe thread' is definitely nsfw

Greg W
10-12-2009, 15:08:03
It's no worse than your avatar! And a lot more tasteful!

King_Ghidra
10-12-2009, 15:10:04
agree on the latter point, but as to the former, the difference is that my avatar is very small, smaller in fact than one of that asian girl's very lovely and very visible breasts

Nills Lagerbaak
10-12-2009, 15:11:58
In my old work staff room people often used to read the sun and you would often see people perusing the articles on page 3. That would be harsh if the above picture was NSFW.

King_Ghidra
10-12-2009, 15:16:13
