I think I gained you the last time I had all-out-can-eat pizza.

melting away is better than fighting for every pound lost

172.8 here

Been actively trying to lose weight for the last month or so, but actually gained a bit.:clueless:

Spending 3/4 of that time in various countries, stuffing my face with the local cuisine might have been a contributing factor!:cute:

Very poor by your standards.

I'm down to 168, I was 185 at the start of summer, then started training for the Army 10 miler (which made losing pretty easy).

Chronic heartburn is no longer an issue.

I noticed that a chronic pain in my right knee that I'd had for the last three years or so seemed to stop at a threshold of around 174-5. Clearly an incentive to stay below that weight if ever there was one!

Still working at it, but stuck at around 80kg...even with quite a rigorous exercise regime I can't get any lower than that. Appears I am designed for comfort, not speed :p

This is where you eat fewer pies.

It's a plan- I plan to celebrate my 39th birthday weighing the same as I did on my 18th. 149 pounds. When I say "melting away" I mean dieting and doing a lot of running since April.

I weigh around 190lbs. However, since muscle weighs more than fat I estimate that I have about 6% body fat. - FACT!

Admitting to caring is much easier when it comes with a lovely, lean and muscular body as a side-effect.

I'll be happy at 154-161, which seemed to be my optimum weight in my youth. The Catch-22 was my knee, which basically prevented me from starting the exercise needed to really lose the weight.

I have a goal for mid November, which is being able to complete about 25kms of mountain biking comfortably for the Real Ale Wobble at Llanwrtyd Wells...:beer::beer:
