And it looks great, so fuck you.

Incidentally, when I discovered the room had corners that weren't quite 90 degree square, I broke the all-England swearing record. Trim, cut, jiggle, trim, cut, bollocks.

Or you could have used the lack of square corners as an opportunity to install baseboards... moldings, hiding builders mistakes since ????

On every renovation project so far, I have found that the room with 90 degree corners is a myth, and an evil one at that.

It's already got those, and they're bonded to the wall. Attempting to prise them off would probably take big chunks off stuff I don't want big chunks taken off.

Oh I'm glad I'm selling my piece of shit house because I'm not sure any corner in the entire house is 90 degrees.

Footnote-

It was dark and overcast when I did the job.

It brightened up this afternoon. And the improved light revealed that most of the "laminate-effect" vinyl tiles were "beech", a pack of "oak" had sneaked in.

FUCK EVERYTHING. FUCK THIS, FUCK THAT, FUCK THEM AND FUCK YOU.

Thanks, that restores my faith in the order of things.

And what are you doing with vinyl tiles for a bathroom floor? I thought you had worked with ceramic tiles.

Vinyl tiles are a darned sight more child-friendly than ceramic.

That would have been my solution. Large baseboards to hide the error.

I'm really sorry, but

I can laugh because that's something that would happen to me. That's why I have sworn off DIY stuff.
