A support group has been set up to help architects through the "trauma" of seeing one of their creations demolished in their own lifetime.

fokkers

make pictures dammit, I hate those sad architects who think their work is art.
It is art but meant to be functional, so when the funtion is lost so is architecture.
That's the main difference between a sculpture and a building.

Who needs trees when you have signposts? Look at the shade that thing provides.

it's always amazing to see so much space.
i suppose if i had that much space i'd still build a 5 stories high building with flats and live in one. all the others would be empty.

I'm sure that's my auntie's house...but then again they all look the same don't they?

(the houses, not aunties...although maybe they do ;))

sometimes when i drive by the countryside i imagine just owing a small piece of land in the middle of nowhere and just build a small house there away from anybody. then get 2 rotweilers and something non lethal like a bat or nunchakus and just live peacefully there. with noone in the near distance...
otoh i like that business and sea of people where one can get lost in their waves and be a nobody when he wants to. go completely unnoticed. or waive to friends in the neighborhood, that's good also.

sea of friends + rottweilers + bat = goodness
