Just been watching the first two days of a four day cricket game between Glamorgan and Derbyshire. Weird.

Still the Swalec Stadium is looking awesome for the first ever Ashes game to be held in Wales this Summer...

Cricket is the only sport that gives me a certain sense of serenity. I like it.

I have to admit, it is all terribly civilised...

Should be a good series, if everyone stay fit. After getting beaten at home by South Africa, we then beat them away in a great series. But we're showing that after losing McGrath, Warne, Gilchrist, Hayden, Martyn and Langer in a short period of time, we're not as dominant as we have been for most of the last 10+ years.

There's been turmoil in the England team, what with Pietersen and the captaincy/coaching issue a few months back. And your ever present injuries.

I for one am looking forward to it. I hope for another series as thrilling as 2005, but I don't think we'll see another series like that for a long time.

2005 Ashes was the best series I've ever seen. Even better the the Botham classic.
