C'mon you bastards, it's a weekday - get posting!:bounce:

BTW I watched some 4 day cricket in real life these past 2 days - what an odd sport...

30-04-2009, 10:17:29
I'm having a bad day and have nothing to post about.

30-04-2009, 10:19:39
How about posting about your bad day?

30-04-2009, 10:27:57
Ok, you asked for it.

I'm tired, I've got an annoying cough that kept waking me up in the night so I'm grumpy cos of that. My Mum annoyed me on the phone last night so I'm still grumpy from that. I fell off my diet a bit yesterday so I'm annoyed with myself but still very much struggling not to give into the vending machine today because I'm tired and lacking in energy.
As for work I cocked something up yesterday which should be easy to fix but the sodding network keeps dropping out when I try to run the fracking update so I can't load the fracking data in. I've got an ever increasing list of helpdesk calls to deal with which I don't know where to start with and people keep calling me with ever more stuff they want fixed yesterday if not sooner.

And it's freezing in here!

And I'm broke. I hate being broke.

You could have swine flu, or even Bell's Palsy. Go see Dr. Vernon.

Wow, that sounds like an autobiography…

Still, was it good to get it off your chest a bit?:)

you're broken?

2 words: duct tape

30-04-2009, 15:11:53
Any better now?

30-04-2009, 15:12:23
can't imagine why she wouldn't be

that there was some good advice

30-04-2009, 15:17:46
BTW I have a bunged up nostril that I have to be careful about blowing cos otherwise it feels as though I'll pop my right eye out of its socket. And a stupid cough. And sneezing. Also tired. So I feel some of your pain.

Still, the fact that it is cold means that you could prob get away with using the vending machine for energy as you'll be using a lot of energy staying warm - better still, get a red bull and kill two birds with one stone on the tiredness front. Or something like that...

On that note, time I made a coffee, I think...

30-04-2009, 15:19:56
Oh and use the network problem as an excuse for not doing any of the work - as long as you're not the one that's supposed to fix the network...:D

30-04-2009, 15:21:07
Duct tape is no help

30-04-2009, 15:23:15
How about duct taping all your users to their chairs? No more whiney user helpdesk calls...

30-04-2009, 16:24:15
I can reach my phone and computer from my chair.

30-04-2009, 16:24:38
And if I couldn't, it's on wheels.

30-04-2009, 16:36:42
I'd have to duct tape their hands to their chairs.
Or to their heads, that would be more entertaining.

30-04-2009, 17:16:06
the only other thing I know that can fix stuff, other than duct tape, is a hammer

30-04-2009, 18:47:04
I was thinking of a heavy duty taping - complete immobilisation and gagging!
