your all internet nerds right? what do you think of the idea of the return of red dwarf? will it be shit? will it be like the star wars prequels?

The last series was pretty shit anyway. I hope it's good but I don't really have any expectation it will be.

The most bizarre thing about this being announced was the BBC described Craig Charles as Coronation Street's Craig Charles. Can't imagine that at all.

Can't see it working.

Red Dwarf was great but its time has past.

Yeah, it seems a bit late to resurrect it. And were any of the other cast members up for it either?

Yeah, I doubt it too...it'll look like some of the latter Star Trek films...geriatric...

27-01-2009, 22:29:46

:( Thought there might be more cool space pictures - like Saturn's rings.

Sounds like it could be interesting, "The new two-part series Red Dwarf: Back to Earth will be followed by a "no holds barred" episode without sets, special effects or autocue."

Actually, what am I talking about? I hate Red Dwarf.

I can't recall ever watching a full episode of that show.

28-01-2009, 11:17:54
it was very of it's time.
