fuck me, is that picture real? it's breathtaking.

imagine if they beamed back prehistoric cave paintings found on a cliff depicting lush green valleys and herds of grazing octupus-like insects.

No, Cape St Vincent is in Portugal...although it does look different to how I last remember seeing it ;)

Also paints a pretty grim picture for any future habitation of Mars. I for one don't fancy being bombarded by cosmic rays. Well, not that anything would be likely to happen in my lifetime, star trek "first contact" like incidents aside.

you just have to install a giant magnet in the planet's core and you'll be fine.

I know you've read Kim Stanley Robinson's mars series, did you forget that bit?

I stuck to Ray Bradbury's Martian Chronicles...
I had even bought an idiot Myst-like PC game inspired (???) to it... :bash:

Well now that's weird. That hooker in Total Recall had three breasts.

Has "Sauron 2000" found that frame, thought "three tits just isn't enough", and photoshopped in an extra one?

(or is it a genuine alternate version?)

uh-huh. The one on the far left is a bonus mirrored clone of the one on the far right. Hooray for the internet - always going that extra mile for fappery.
