This is my last day of work until January the 5th, so get my birthday thread ready.

I might check in occasionally over the holidays, but for bits of it we'll be in the frozen north where they don't have the technology for the internets.

(Scotland not Canada)

Yeah, I'm not back at work until 5th Jan, and I am "working from home" this morning and I'm off into London this afternoon for my work Christmas do. I've done loads of extra hours this week so I feel quite justified in not doing a lot this morning. Besides I have a few bits to do workwise over Christmas! The curses of having a work laptop :D

And can't you walk from Scotland to Canada this time of year? ;)

No, it's 3000 miles, by the time I got there it would no longer be this time of year.

Isn't it always 'this time of year' as far as the climate is concerned up there?

Well good luck up there, I bet you'll miss sunlight ;)

I'm getting Funko withdrawal symptoms...

On the other hand, forget that, that sounds disgusting...

Actually, it is faster than the connection at work (still in the frozen north, by the way)
