I think that's about an hour's drive from my house.

I could be the Counterglow roving reporter!

I'll suppress the urge to show up in a HARDMAN T-shirt and scream "u r all gay twats" at random intervals until I'm kicked out.

Why resist?

JMJMJM went to the '06 one, if you are the roving reporter could you get some footage for Being John Miller?

Maybe HARDMAN on the front, and Jeffery Morris, FIRAXIS on the back.

I guess they haven't settled on a price.

Its pretty likely we'll head directly for Pittsburgh that Friday afternoon after work, but I'll let you know if that changes.

I'm off the 19th...I could conceivably make it. But I'd rather have my ass waxed.

A bi-weekly event.

This DC meet isn't taking place in a bar, I can't face it sober so I'm no longer coming.

It's not starting in one but it will end up in one.

I have to stay in a reasonable place. My wife will be coming to meet us later on in the evening. Can't wander too far. Your mistake was in meeting me without her around.

Well, that and letting me drink 4 or 5 liters of beer. In a city I'd never visited before.

Hehe, I wouldn't call that a mistake.

You should come back sometime. There's more beer.

I expect it to be fun. I need to get to NY or Reading or something to have a CG meet.

Either one. You can't tell the difference unless you live there.

Wouldn't it be embarrassing if it had been a scam and you had to explain to the police that you'd been scammed into giving your money to an event called "PolyCon"...where the clue is in the name

I'm glad that didn't happen ;)

But I know a couple of people who frequent this board went there...Jpon Mikjert and Snotty for example.

That very short term shortage was alleviated quickly. They made more beer! Isn't life grand?
