I lost my season ticket for the train sometime between getting home last night and getting to the station this morning.

The brilliantly brilliant thing is that I renewed it for a month yesterday and I hadn't even used the new ticket yet.

Stupid twat.

Hopefully I lost it in the pub and someone will have found it.

is it nominal for you, or can anyone use it?

Theoretically you need the photocard that goes with it, but someone could easily get away with using a different photocard.

Most likely whoever finds it won't want to make the same journey as me every day!

You can claim to get it replaced, and any tickets you have to buy in the meantime get refunded, it's just a pain.

MoSe

aren't you pain-trained?

the lazyview solution is to wait and see if its returned then?

Funko
28-08-2008, 12:01:19
LazyView solution is to go and see if they have it at the pub first.

Henley station is small and the ticket office is run by this very nice old guy who I already asked about replacements this morning so I'll just fill in the form he gave me and let him sort it all out.

Claiming for a replacement doesn't seem much harder than just buying a replacement as I'll need a replacement photocard etc anyway, so I might as well claim it back to save the 70 or so.

It wasn't open, or I'd have gone and asked if they had it this morning.

Greg W
28-08-2008, 14:49:47
Or, you left it there this morning when you popped in for a quick pint before work, and by the time you got to the station, it was too late to walk all the way back to the pub to get it. And thus the elaborate story. :D

Funko
28-08-2008, 14:50:54
But it wasn't open this morning.
