I'm not just expecting...I'm demanding a Good Bongs copy cat thread now.

The toilets in the campsites at Reading this year were like the starting traps you get at horse racing. Amazing.

Don't rub it in, some of us bought tickets to download in the wrong month and couldn't afford to go to Reading and had to make do going into reading to get my tongue pierced instead.

I thought you were getting your tongue pierced in September?

Anyway, best festival for ages.

Yeah, you'll need another excuse to avoid us next month now :D

People will wonder why I was using her tongue piercing to avoid you.

Only silly overly literal people.

Funko

Scarlet fever? Nah, I'll be there.

Who did you see, who was the best, tell me everything so I can live through your experiences and hate you at the same time

I can withstand the hate :)

Metallica were absolutely amazing, one of the best "gigs" I've seen. I had a sore throat on Monday from singing/screaming :)
Pendulum had the biggest crowd ever (slight exaggeration but the tent wasn't big enough for everyone watching them).
I enjoyed The Killers more than I expected to.
Tenacious D were brilliant, very funny.

We also saw, in just whatever order they come to my head:
Pete and the Pirates (v good)
DIOYY? (unfortunately couldn't see Rob's new trainers)
The Racontuers
The Subways
Bloc Party (while drinking tea, rock and roll!)
Queens of the Stone Age
Rage Against the Machine
Dropkick Murphys (v enjoyable even though they didn't play Wild Rover)
Plain White Ts (not good)
Black Kids

Probably a few I've forgotten, and also heard a few more while sitting by the bar by the Radio 1 tent, none of which I can remember now.

It was great (sorry).

You should make clear that we only saw Plain White Ts by accident because they changed the main stage times around. They were the worst thing I've ever seen at Reading by a long way. And they hardly got bottled at all. Probably just so boring people couldn't even be bothered to throw piss at them. I'm saddened for the youth of today. :(

I got their album for my birthday.

I so wanted to see Rage, were they really really amazing? Jealous about Tenacious D, and QotSA, really wanted to go and see Mindless Self Indulgence and Robots in Disguise too, seen them so many times before, but still love watching them!

Next year.

They were very good... the sound was a bit rubbish. Odd wind direction meant the decibel meters in town were going off the scale way too early so they had to make them quieter.

Listened to the first few titles of that album and never listened to it again. It's a bit like the childrens TV version of Weezer

Are Robots in Disguise good? I sort of wanted to see them, originally cos of the name, but then I read a bit about them and thought they sounded cool.
But we didn't quite manage it. I think we were too busy sitting by the bar when they were on :D

That's a reasonable excuse for missing them!! I've been to see them 4 times and loved it, their best album is 'Get Rid' most of the tracks on there are ones I'd recommend listening to.
