View Full Version : I saw this weird Wiccan girl in the airport yesterday

She had this long stringy air. Not a knockout, but could be ok.

While I was there, I saw her change her shirt twice (she went to the head to do that) for different Wicca related themes. Well, I don't really know Wicca. But she had a big honking book with Wicca prominent in the title. And she had a necklace that had a pentagon (I think that is a magic symbol, no?) And her shirts, one had like giraffes or animals on it. The next had a HUGE pentagon on it.

Funny thing is, the whole time, she was only at first page or so of the book. Couldn't seem to make any progress in it.

:hmm:

As mr.G would say, what a story what a story.

I thought there was sort of a kernel of a "new journalism"* nugget there.

Pentagram is more likely than pentagon.

It was a pentagram--5 sided star.

She was an air marshal, the second shirt hid her weapon better.

Or a smuggler, and the second shirt hid her stash better.

Or she's shallow and obsessed with appearances.

Was I the only one disappointed that no punch line ambled it's way into the OP?

You should have tried telling her that Wicca was invented by Gerald Gardner so that he could spend more time around naked women.

when i read a book in public i always hide the cover for fear of being judged. i go with the very self-aware theory.

i bet she has a dream-catcher and more than three cats.

Do the Wiccans kill little animals?

Only nine-banded armadillos.

It would be a shame if she went to that much trouble and people still weren't interested in her.
