I just downloaded it. Lots of plugins don't work yet.

I wasn't using the beta. Not sure about the big icons on the bookmarks history bar.

They're about to pass 7 million downloads in less than 24 hours BTW.

I managed to get all but one of my extensions working. Most just need the FF version number increased in their install file.

There's extensions like Nightly Tester Tools that allow you to override that number from the GUI.

How do you do that? I've been trawling through the documentation for about:config and couldn't see the option.

Right click on the toolbar -> toolbar properties -> small icons

I can't see toolbar properties. I see small icons checkbox if I right click and go to "Customise" but that changes the size of the toolbar images (back, reload, home etc), I'm talking about the images to the right of the urls in the url selector thingy that has bookmarks and history in and you can type urls into.

In Firefox 3 when you drop down that selector it displays all your old bookmarks and history on 2 lines with a big Favicon next to it. I want to turn the icons off and make the text smaller like it used to be. Just making the text smaller would be acceptable.

Could you screenshot this?

Location bar or Url bar apparently.

I found out how to disable bookmarks, not how do take the other stuff out

So you want the location/url bar to behave like in FF2? (Eg, 1 line)?

This extension reverts to old behaviour: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6227
