My first thread didn't fare so well, so here's another. :smoke:

A bot that drinks? Oh technology

I made that joke on thread 1, and it was already old.

Vincent

That explains why it didn't work

Seemingly,

Funko

What joke?

it's actually all just magic

Greg W

There is no magic. </Feist>

Dreams are magical.

Nah, that's just your head being all fucked up!

I had a dream about a rat whose fur changed colour when he was happy.
Perfectly normal.

*backs away slowly*

Yes, yes, very normal...

I don't like rats. We've got them at work and they jump out the bins at my harem. It's not a good look.

So you work in animal testing or at a kebab shop. Have you got the worlds first SAP implementation in a kebab shop?

You and Funko must live an interesting life, considering the happy talk here:

Is drinking a lot of water just as unhealthy as drinking the same amount of beer?

Funko

Yes.

Venom

Might as well get drunk then.

Funko

It used to be much healthier to drink beer than water because the brewing process killed all the nasty bugs that'd make you sick.

And it doesn't any longer?

Tizzy

I drank more water than wine on Saturday and still had a hangover on Sunday.

Therefore I conclude water is bad for you.

And it doesn't any longer? From what I was told at a Brewery, they now filter out all the good stuff so that the beer is clear. Cos people like a clear looking beer, rather than the old cloudy beers of days gone by.

They also cut down the time given to the brewing process, so they can get the beer out quicker, cos it saves them money to do so.

So now we get beer that's nowhere near as good for us, but it looks clear!

Well, except stout, not sure where dark beers fit into the scheme of things.

"I can see clearer now, the beer is gone"

You should be able to buy unfiltered beer, at least in civilised countries.

Oh, we have a few breweries that brew the stuff, but with a limited population to sell to (only 20 million), most brewers stick with what sells. And that's clear beer.

Then they jar up the good stuff and sell it to you to spread on toast!

you mean there's no brewery solid enough to foster the diffusion of cloudy beer?
