Seemed to be about the Korean War (unsure, but looked like Chosin Reservoir). Has a platoon that has to stay behind while other forces escape. The platoon mimicing a regiment. Black and white film with lots of snow. Think Henry Fonda was in it.

It sounds very much like an old Samuel Fuller film I once saw- "Fixed bayonets". However Fonda wasn't in it. I can't think of any Koren war movies he was in.

It's Jaws: The Revenge, starring Michael Caine and Lorraine Gary.

I've not seen it, but it does sound a lot like the scenario of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding".

Thanks Laz. You come through a lot. Caught 40 minutes of it on TV in the hotel. Pretty neat. I did not mind that it was B&W or studio shot, as it is really almost more of a play than a movie (like THE ROPE) or 12 ANGRY MEN).
