The God Machine

I dug my old albums out and remembered how excited I was to hear them some 15 years ago. It was what rock should have been. The only problem was that they were about 5 years ahead of their time- while grunge was huge, nobody was in the mood for complex, delicate yet brutally heavy songs.

They sort of fitted midway between Killing Joke and Tool. These tracks are the ones to sample-

"The blind man"
"She said"

Two of them are off being famous now, and two are playing in "the best band in Reading" (it says so in the song so it must be true)
