Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
All day long I'd biddy biddy bum.
If I were a nerdy man.

I think I would be busy building my own WoW, EVE and Startrek forum

What's wrong with D&D?!?!

Funko
17-01-2008, 09:16:21
It's not advanced enough for him.

C.G.B. Spender
17-01-2008, 09:18:15
He switchted to D&D 4.0 already. kewl!

Funko
17-01-2008, 09:21:47
If only you could do something like D&D, but on a computer from your own home. That'd be really cool.

Well, you can use Excel for character sheets

OldWarrior_42
17-01-2008, 09:24:32
I'd start a LoTRo thread.

:) It's been snowing here for the last 3 or 4 hours now and a couple of inches have already accumulated. This is gonna fuck up these North Carolina drivers. They can't drive in this shit. They don't know how. They're not used to it.

OldWarrior_42
17-01-2008, 09:26:05
I'm not a nerd. I'm too cool for that. I wasn't nerdy growing up in NY either. I was a bad boy. :-P~~

C.G.B. Spender
17-01-2008, 09:27:24

I have posted in both the Eve and WoW threads, despite having never played either game.
My nerdiness knows no bounds.
Or maybe my complulsion to post as much rubbish as possible knows no bounds.

C.G.B. Spender
17-01-2008, 09:36:39
You're more a D&D person?

Talking of D&D, I and my old friends are in the process of organising a nostalgic weekend of D&D in March, like we used to play back in the 80’s…

Basically a whole Saturday and Sunday of Roleplaying, beer and pizza, interdispersed with boardgames, wargaming, kicking a football/throwing an American football down the park, and seeing an appropriate movie at the cinema.

There will be 7-8 of us, we’ve already decided on which AD&D ruleset (2nd edition, although I wanted 1st edition for true authenticity but was outvoted) is to be played, and since it will be held in Maidenhead we have even come up with an apt name for our gathering: MAIDENCON…

All spouses and children are to be shipped off to see friends and relatives, and go on holiday etc.

Is this one ‘last roll of the dice’ of a bunch of sad old nerds all starting to hit 40 wanting to relive our youth of childhood innocence and no responsibilities?

Probably, but I’m really looking forward to it!:D

I post in the EVE and WOW threads.

I would probably post ain a DnD and StarTrek thread also, but DnD online sucked and StarTrek Online will likely suck (and has been delayed, again).

It is useful to know applications of the physics you are learning.

I had to do "digital logics" at the university and during the experiments - which we had to do with 3 or 4 team members - all I did was to straighten the cables and wires.

The other guys constructed an elevator control cicuit etc. Nerds!

or at least a "reasonable" one, behaving in a bit more sensible way than the ones in use

in college, we used a very shitty book from england
