On the back of the Best Film of 2007 thread, which films are you currently looking forward to seeing?

At the moment it would have to be the Coen brothers' latest 'No Country for Old Men', and the interesting looking 'Charlie Wilson's War' - both of which I have the feeling would go to the top of the list of my picks for the other thread had they come out last year...

'Cloverfield' The work of the writer of Lost, hopefully should mean there will be more mystery behind the story than the Godzilla-esque trailer shows.

It's a giant rat attacking New York. Which should be about the plot level complexity that Abrahms can handle without getting confused and losing too many plot points.

Or there are some rumors that this (http://www.wwtdd.com/photo.phtml?post_key=3352&photo_key=5641) is the monster.

Does look female though, unless that's a tight nappy it's wearing which can change colour to adapt to it's surroundings lika a chamelon.

No Country For Old Men looks pretty amazing. I read one review which said it'll be remembered as "one of the great American movies", which is high praise indeed. I could just download it now, but it looks worth actually going to the cinema for, also high praise indeed.

There Will Be Blood also appears to be quite good.

Ok. This (http://www.wwtdd.com/photo.phtml?post_key=3375&photo_key=5692) is the Cloverfield monster. It's been screened in several cities so this is a for sure thing.

There's a fine line between great (Alien) and shit (Cloverfield).

Maybe it'll look better animated.

Think I might go and see Charlie Wilson’s War tonight, if I can be bothered going in the rain…
