I just remembered this.

Over the Christmas period Tizzy and I saw a bus reverse into a parked car.

For any Readingensians, it was at #17 bus which was, for some reason, trying to do a 3 point turn in the alley opposite the library.

As it came back out into the street it reversed into a (legally) parked VW Golf with a satisfying crunch. I'm not sure if the driver even knew he'd done it.

I'd forgotten about that. I still can't figure out why he was going that way to need to do a 3 point turn there.

Maybe the driver forgot his lunch.

My guess is he went the wrong way and was trying to get back on route. Happens all the time when you're new. :cute:

Yeah, that would make sense but I can't figure out where he must have gone wrong to be going the wrong way on that part of the route (there's a big one way section).
Oh, unless it started at the station for some reason.....

And how about the doing a three point turn in a bus bit...?:cute:

Well, you do what you have to do to get back on track... ;)

I've reversed down a winding street with cars parked on one side and barely enough room to fit the bus through for about 50 metres before. :cute:

I think I'd far rather execute a reverse in a bus than a 3 point turn.:D
