Monkeys kill Delhi deputy mayor

SS Bajwa suffered serious head injuries when he fell from the first-floor terrace of his home on Saturday morning trying to fight off the monkeys.

Hmm, so the monkey's didn't actually kill him. Typical BBC, lying bastards. Still a funny story though may I be first CCer to offer my condolences to the Bajwa family at this difficult time and wish them luck in trying to stop people laughing when asked how he died.

it could be worse: they could be swamped by frogs

One approach has been to train bands of larger, more ferocious langur monkeys to go after the smaller groups of Rhesus macaques.

That's clearly not a good idea?

yeah, I was thinking to that Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck cartoon, where he gets a cat to get rid of a mouse.
Then a dog to get rid of the cat.
Then a lion to get rid of the dog.
Then an elephant to get rid of the lion.
Then a mouse to get rid of the elephant.
...

Or indeed, have their brains eaten by a baboon.

the solution is to release armed penguins into the streets

You just keep going until a cold snap kills off the next set of monkeys.

Does anyone else see a falw in this plan responding to the monkey menace?

Most of the people that have already posted in this thread did.

I like how the article insinuates that religious Hindus will have less of an issue with promoting inter-simian violence than humans culling them.

No mention of Chimpcopters in this thread yet? :(

Chimps aren't monkeys.

as long as it's not inter-milan violence...

They need to train those cows to do something instead of just standing there being sacred. Ninja cows would fuck some monkeys up.

The next mayor will have a scooter or flare dropped on his head.

Or Davey Jones.

I'm still reeling from Venom's suggestion.
