What Mr_B said on MSN whilst telling me a story: "when he bought his first apple"

I assumed it was a literal translation of a dutch phrase meaning "when he lost his virginity", something that had come out of the Adam and Eve story.

It turns out he meant, when he bought his first Mac computer.

So now there is a new Dutch phrase, I hope all you Dutch posters will help to spread it's use.

eg.

"Did Henk have a good time on his date with Greetje?"

"jesjes, Toen hij zijn eerste appel kocht"

On the plus side, does this mean I'm religiously and sexually repressed but not a Nerd?

did you bought your first apple?

If I had been having that conversation, I would have said "Apple computer?", thinking I was being funny, then realised I really am a nerd.

Breaking her cherry, buying his apple. Fruit plays a prominent role in The Sex metaphors and innuendos. It's all banana's fault.

Indeed. I'm somewhat disappointed no-one thought to make an innuendo about my pear post.

I thought that was an innuendo already? I didn't want to PH it.

Tizzy

I'll rephrase that

I'm somewhat disappointed no-one thought to make a more obvious innuendo about my pear post
