On MSN Tizzy is raving about them serving something called "soft drinks" in a pub and suggesting you can go to one and not get drunk

Anyone have any idea what she might be talking about?

never heard of that in my life.

Maybe this is a form of alien abduction?

Soft drinks are drinks that aren't in the solid state. So anything not on the rocks basically.

Ice makes you drunk.

And you'd probably be better off inhaling it than drinking.

Never understood what's so soft about soft drinks anyway

Venom

They're softer than the cans and bottles they come in.

King_Ghidra
15-10-2007, 12:22:04
they're also softer than a fist

Tizzy's response to me on MSN when she saw this thread was "some of them probably think beer is a soft drink"

We recently had some Polishticians over in the UK to campaign to UK based Poles about so they'd vote for them when they went to the poles.

Venison burgers are typically so lean as to require the addition of fat in the form of bacon, olive oil or cheese, or blending with beef, to achieve parity with hamburger cooking time, texture, and taste. Some deer breeders have expressed an interest in breeding for a fatter animal that displays more marbling in the meat

I'm for this forum what marbling is to venison: for perfection, if it's "too lean" you gotta add it!

:p

Speaking to my now many Polish friends here in Cardiff, only stupid people vote for the twins because anyone with a brain can see through their crap - unfortunately it is the stupid people that are left in the country!

They were also serious about the probability of polling (or should that be Poling?) stations being set up here in the UK...

Well, I can't really comment on that due to the "preelection silence", but...

- unfortunately it is the stupid people that are left in the country!

...are you calling me stupid :p?

Errr... that's pretty much normal - every consulate has a pol(l)ing station for presidential and parliamentary elections. I assumed it's the rule for most democratic countries, but I guess I may have been wrong.

Yeah, it gets dizzying to see how many different countries have official polling stations in the US.

Think of it as a good thing. It means Cardiff has enough jobs, wealth, and industry to attract talent from other countries. ;)

You're no longer in that balkan's shithole and back to Poland?

"Yeah, it gets dizzying to see how many different countries have official polling stations in the US."

Is polling counts considered impolite, or is there some sort of ban on rogering the aristocracy?

I see your love for Vienna is as undying and radiant as the sun :D.

Yeah, no longer there for the foreseeable future. No need to - I've completed all the courses, the only thing left is my master's thesis.

What, you coming to Vienna ;)?

OK, I can finally answer this:

That's a very accurate synopsis of the Kaczynski brothers and their program - well, either people who are stupid in general, or intelligent people who are easily duped...

Anyway, after yesterday, here's hoping that our wonderful president gets himself into an impeachment situation (in a non-harmful way for the country of course) quickly !
