I'd highly recommend going to see these guys, I went and saw them recently and they kicked arse. They're a great Aussie Rock band that've been around for quite a few years now. If you'd like to listen to some tracks from their recent album, go to the Powderfinger Website (http://www.powderfinger.com) and they have a few tracks from their most recent album, Dream Days at the Hotel Existence (even if the website is a little hard to navigate - just go to the flash enabled side of the site though and it'll cycle through their tracks form the album). After months of persistent emails from thousands of UK and Irish fans, we are now very happy to announce that Powderfinger are finally heading way, way north for a run of pre-Christmas tour dates in the UK and Ireland.

This will be the first opportunity for you Northern Hemispherians to witness the Dream Days at the Hotel Existence live spectacle, and will be the first time the band has visited your isles since mid-2004. You’ll be getting a band in top form following 2 months of solid touring across Australia and New Zealand as part of Across The Great Divide.

Dream Days at the Hotel Existence will be out in the UK on November 19 complete with exclusive bonus track.
