Really?

it really happened, but I really don't think it was right :)

I think it was the same local church that had the nutjob minister that approached my 12 year old sister and her friends at the local fair and told them the world was going to end and that they needed to get their sinning selves to church. Thought some of the parents might beat him down, minister or not.

The few that still had any respect for him lost it when the world didn't actually end.

The 80's were great!

I wonder what those same types of crazy people think of the millions of people that play MMOs today.

I can't help thinking that if people were insisting that D&D books had to be burnt etc. that might actually have made it a bit cool rather than nerdy. :hmm:

yeah, the fact that he managed to covertly buy more and just stash them at my place and with other friends supports your thinking

was it Trainspotting where the addicts let the baby die of neglect?
That was one creepy movie, which this reminds me of.

Yes, it was Trainspotting.

Nerds of that magnitude shouldn't breed anyway.

I can't begin to think of the magnitude and chain of events needing to take place before D&D starts helping you score with girls
