Is it possible to start a zero reply thread here?

I think the number of replies is random and you can't predict how many replies a thread will get.

I call that "the Orioles phenomenon"

You could try closing the thread?

(and no, I am certainly not a Superdump fan)

I like Supertramp. I think Crime of the Century is overrated, but "Even in the Quietest Moments" and "Crisis? What Crisis" are excellent. The latter works, "Bre
akfast" ff, are very comercial and not really good.

(and I didn't look it up in Wikipedia. Maybe a little)

Jesus, surely everyone knows that Mr Roboto is by Styx, not Supertramp. It is also one of the most beautiful songs about a fictional robot prison worker ever recorded!

Kilroy!

I especially like Styx's 4th song on their second CD.

I was thinking about being a Supertramp fan at one point, but decided that would be very illogical.

I think being a Supertramp fan has a lot of pros. You can stay at home and drink wine. You don't have to go to smelly etablissements and you don't have to run around and try to get a CD. You can order them via Amazon, they will be never out of stock and they come digitally remastered.

That's not too bad ...

Resource Consumer
09-07-2007, 18:40:43
wow - but you can be an old punk and do that too

C.G.B. Spender
09-07-2007, 18:42:41
But other punks may come to your house and drink your wine., I can't imagine Supertramp fans coming to my place.

Supertramp were rubbish when I saw them in Rotterdam I also saw them in Washington D.C. in 1982 - for a fleeting moment. July the 4th it was. A free concert on the mall. And I agree with CGB: 'Crisis? What crisis?' and 'Even in the Quietest Moments' were better than 'Crime of the Century'.
