I mean, you expect the occasional x-post and duplicate but people deliberately post something that isn't the correct next number. Are they some kind of ill disciplined, anarchists or hippies or liberals or Dutchies or something?

I REALLY know what you mean Funko. I think it's because people with a low IQ don't see the inner beauty of a proper counting.

It's also the fear of their own death. Counting is infinite, so it reminds them of being merely a mortal. They try to escape by breaking the principle of counting!

Sometimes I think they are just being Nerdy and posting in a different base. Binary or Hex or, if they are really nerdy, Octal.
