Elder siblings have higher IQs than their thick younger siblings. Something that was already very obvious to those of us who are eldest children.

Not true. My brother is dumber than a sack of hammers. I'm as dumb as a sack of hammers.

don't worry, I'm overflowing my onepostperdayselfimposedlimit only because there's the weekend ahead and I won't be online this monday either

and were you blinded by obviousness, you wouldn't see my posts without needing to put me on ignore

Youngest siblings are not only more intelligent, but also more socially aware.

Anyway, posting here makes you a complete moron.
There´s only one even more humiliating thing, that is posting here using a Wii console while you have a laptop in the other room...

This research is truth. My younger sister failed French. However, I never failed French, because I took Chinese.

I'm an only child. How do I rate?

You lose because: "In addition, the tendency for first-borns to occupy the niche of a surrogate parent, and to take on the role of the conscientious, self-disciplined and mature sibling may also explain why first-borns have higher IQs,"

I was first born, but then had two siblings be adopted that were older than me (by 6 and 8 months) at age 10/11.

So I get all benefits.

You'd be smarter if you had a younger sibling.

My IQ is one point higher than my little sister - which is why I was smart enough to only do well enough to get B grades in school, and she was Valedictorian. Best in class = high expectations. Stay a little above average and do the quietly competent thing, no one will dump extra work on you.

Yeah, that was my plan all along. :nervous:

Is that Lazy (TM)?

Based on that study, I'm guessing mr.G has 43 older siblings.

No that's being the real smart one.
