What's the social networking site to go for these days?

Myspack? Livejournal? Facebook?

I am on Facebook. I have a very small network though.

Myspace destroys your sense of taste, and while mine isn't particularly good, I don't want it to get worse.

I'm already on Vampirefreaks. Taste is for lesser mortals.

I actually could use a freindly Blog, to sort of tie it all together.

I want to make my facebook more freindly to people visiting it, just sort of give a tab on what I have been doing.

Facebook is much better than MySpace.

MySpace is a nightmare vision from every dystopian cyberfuture. It's the Web 2.0 attention whore vomitspace.

Facebook was much better, it looks cleaner, and (at least initially) required members to be university members, which meant it began with a slightly less retarded population base. It has a better interface than MySpace, and as far as I can tell, much better privacy settings. However, every change they have made since starting up three years ago has been to make it more like MySpace, and it is developing the same cluttery pile of shite aethetic.

LiveJournal is like, so, 1.0. Furthermore, ED says everything that needs saying (http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/Livejournal).

Myspace lets you stalk foxy girls all over the world, where as Facebook just gets you back in touch with loads of gimps from school, a glorified Friends Reunited. I'm on both.

If you aren't interested in stalking foxy girls all over the world, MySpace is also good for music, pretty much every band in the world ever is on there, but you don't need to be a member for the music side unless you want to send them messages or something.

Also, MySpace hardly ever works and is always down for maintenance. Facebook works really well, the photo stuff is particularly good. You only end up being friends with people you really know which can be good or bad... MySpace can be a bit like a "how many friends can I get?" competition sometimes.

While a member of both, Facebook is the one that really took off for me as I could never really be bothered with MySpace...

I created a facebook account about two weeks ago, it seems much more mature/user friendly than Myspace and I definitely prefer it.
