I started with a nice big dump.

Done some posting on CG

A bit of Hoffi Coffi

A bit of work

More posting

Thought about work

Decided to do this thread. I am very excited as I think this will be the most productive thing I've done so far today!

Now it is lunchtime.

How is your day at work so far? Is it as good as mine?:)

Tizzy
18-06-2007, 12:03:20
Woke up and switched off the alarm clock.
Repeated this 7 minutes later.
Woke up to point out to Funko his shoes were where they're supposed to be.
Woke up at next alarm and wished I didn't have to get up.
Repeated this 7 minutes later.
Dragged myself out of bed, usual morning routine and got to work pretty much on time.
Posted a bit, read various internet pages, did a few emails worth of work.
Complained about some idiots.
Had lunch.

All in all, not too bad so far.

Tizzy
18-06-2007, 12:04:21
Oh, just day at work.
Must learn to read :(

They weren't were they were supposed to be, someone insanely tidied them away into the cupboard.

Sounds like a case of relativity...

Relatively speaking they have two places they should be, depending on who you speak to. But they can't occupy both places at the same time - or can they...?

You could both solve this problem of relative locations by having one shoe where Tizzy thinks they should be, and one where Funko thinks they should be...:cute:

Basic issue is that Tizzy thinks objects have a place where they belong and sometimes moves them there. I think that objects will be where I left them.

What? It's ludicrous, who keeps shoes in a cupboard? Under the bed, on the floor or by the door are all reasonable places for shoes.

Tizzy
18-06-2007, 16:01:39
In the new house we will have a shoe rack where shoes will live.
The rack will live by the front door and then we will both be happy.
As will the shoes.

Funko
18-06-2007, 16:02:25
By the door? Then I'll get cold feet. We need a new plan.

Venom
18-06-2007, 16:10:27
I have a shoe rack! It's made of wood. I want to break it over my neighbor's head and then laugh as his children run outside crying "Daddy, daddy, why can we see your brain?!?!?!?"

Funko
18-06-2007, 16:12:20
I don't even have 1 shoe let alone enough to necessitate an entire rack.

Funko

This time next year:

Woke up to point out to Funko his shoes were where they're supposed to be.

Will mean they've been tidied away to the shoe rack won't it. :(

Tizzy
18-06-2007, 16:17:43
Well obviously. If you have a shoe rack it's just plain daft for the shoes to be somewhere else.

Chris

Well, it didn't take much for him to realize their place is the cupboard.

So, not only you didn't learn anything but Tizzy got lazy and gave up with the 'tidy them away in the cupboard' process,

Bad news. Chaos is winning the war against order.

The approach is to tidy things up every now and then so in the end a frustrated and confused Funko will realize it is easier to tidy things up himself to know where to find them.

Excellent plan. I believe it won't work but it's worth a try.

Got in, sat down.

Did some work (more than usual for now).

Surfed a bit.

Coffee dude went a bit early this morning so considering I was still digesting breakfast, I resisted the temptation.

Thinking about what to start a new thread about on CG.

Wow, pretty boring day so far...

7:15am Got up, snuck around so I didn't wake anyone up and enjoyed a nice coffee and banana before work.

8:00am Went to Tesco Express and bought a Relentless energy drink so I could get some change for the bus. My motorbike is out of action so I have to join the weirdos and paupers on the public transport :(

8:30am Arrive at work and find out there's an inspection. Make sure everyone is aware and no-one is f*cking around.

10:43am Post this message.

Making mistakes is understandable. Being annoying and unhelpful when someone else is trying to fix your mistake is not good.

It's been weeks since I've had an argument with anyone at work. This means one of the following-

1- Everyone has come round to my way of thinking

2- Everyone is avoiding me

3- I've been fired, and they're too scared to tell me.

No, you misunderstand...

It is something I might very well have forgotten to do. One of the reasons I avoided any form of programming like the plague...

Even I wouldn't intentionally do something like that.:cute:

Funko
20-06-2007, 08:13:52
No, that's what I thought you meant. You might have forgotten to copy it across, but you'd have done it by mistake not on purpose. I think you wouldn't have been as annoying as my cowie about it though.

I suppose I could move to an Antarctic Weather station...

Otherwise you have: ducks, swans, magpies, wood pigeons, black birds, seagulls, crows and other stuff I don't know what it is to choose from...

In fact some of my potential long distance sightings of squirrels from a funny angle have turned out to be wood pigeons, as they are roughly the same size and colour, so it is only when they move that you can recognise them. All very seriously serious!
