sunny and warm on Sunday, yesterday, and a bit warmer today, had all the windows open in the house yesterday

Cooked outside on the grill Sunday. Did you know that if you wrap something in bacon and grill it, its about 62.3 times tastier than without the bacon? Shame on you if that wasn't obvious.

Recommended: split a jalapeno pepper in half and clean out the seeds, replace with a cube/strip of chicken breast, sandwich in the chicken with a layer of red onion, and wrap the whole thing with half a slice of bacon. Toothpick/skewer it together and grill (on a piece of foil works better than directly on the grill rack). The bacon grease brings the hot out of the jalapeno, and its delicious. Make at least a dozen per person, even if only half that is probably enough. There will be no leftovers.

You should put some cheese in the jalapeno with the chicken.

Having never eaten one, I still can tell that would improve its already very great awesomeness.

cheese sucks

14-03-2007, 11:30:18
Is that what you want to call them?

14-03-2007, 11:33:42
I might try and make some of them at the weekend. How annoying that MDA didn't give the recipe just before this weekend. I watched most of 3 football matches and 3 Six Nation Matches and a load of tasty jalapeno snacks would have gone down very well. :bash:
