I'm back from Gothenburg had a great time. I'm probably moving to Stockholm permanently in a month's time (maybe two) so I'll finally be in a place someone will e interested in visiting.

As I've said ad nauseum in the past - you're always welcome. I have a spare room now so it should be a bit more comfortable too!

It's sad that our only way of keeping contact these days is through CG posts.

The reason I didn't suggest Stockholm for the meet this year is that I'm hoping to get people to come to my wedding next summer instead.

So that's 2008's CG vacation spot filled though I don't think we ever agreed on the location of a 2007 meet. We had a few threads but everyone wanted to go some where different.

Hey Scabby, are you around over this summer? I've noticed some damn cheap flights to Stockholm going :D

Scabrous Birdseed
03-06-2007, 07:40:45
I'm not really posting right now, but I'll be in Stockholm from September onwards, got a summer job in a small town before that.

Spartak

Skavsta and Vasteras are over 100km from Stickholm. Consider Sterling from Gatwick (Sterling.dk) or SAS from Heathrow (flysas.com) and/or BA (ba.com).

Sas offers some really cheap flights if you book early enough.

Hmm Stockholm? Its still miles away from Arlanda. I'll be there in August/September at some point.

Can someone mapquest a nice Stockholm alley to prop PH up in for a photo shoot?

I don't care if he's drunk or not, we need pictures of him slumped against a wall in as many cities as possible.

Scabrous Birdseed
04-06-2007, 20:35:22
Well, Stansted is as far from London as Skavsta is from Stockholm, or as I shall experience tomorrow, Beauvais is from Paris. It works if you prioritize cost over convenience, if you don't you've got no business flying Ryanair in the first place...

SAS and Sterling do some good deals too though if you're in decent time beforehand.

Provost Harrison
06-06-2007, 09:55:23
Beauvais is bleeding miles from Paris!

Scabrous Birdseed

Just look at the font on the "London" bit! Fuckin' amatur. And where's the capital letter? That logo cost 400,000 pounds would you believe. I hope the designer's career is ruined after this debacle.
