The revised lyrics to Lily Allen's hits single could go something like, 'When I forget my own words in front of an audience I just smile', after the 21-year-old, Indie queen forgot the lyrics to her own music at a gig last night.

The big-mouthed star started off her concert smoothly, sailing through her first song with ease.

It was when Lily came to sing her second track 'Everything's Just Wonderful', she hit a little hiccup well a big one, completely forgetting the words.

One fan said: 'She performed her first number without any problems but when it came to the second track Everything's Just Wonderful, she got stuck.'

'She just said something like,"Sorry, I can't remember it. I'll have another go later"' said the onlooker.

A member of Allen's entourage was then forced to use some quick thinking and logged on to Google, printing out the lyrics to her own songs.

An embarrassed but jovial Allen launched into another song until her assistant returned five minutes later with the printed song sheet.

Lily then sang the track holding the sheet in front of her.

Allen, could put her temporary amnesia down to a daunting audience which included, Coldplay's Chris Martin, James Morrison and members from The Automatic. Her very own father Keith Allen was also among the onlookers at Islington's Union Chapel. The venue was also where her parents tied the knot, some 25 years ago.

She also forgot one of the verses to one of her songs on friday when we saw her supporting the scissor sisters at wembley arena. she laughed it off and did admit to being rather nervous in front of such a big crowd.

there's a part of me that wants to hate her rich kid/hoodie act, but in truth i think she's cool

why would you think that? Your slang is not the same as our slang.
