What if the mortgage rates go up, and my current rates are fixed for 12 years at a lower rate. Is that positive, negative or doesn't it matter?

Drekkus
08-11-2006, 14:00:44
if you can do the whole project, inlcuding everything (work, materials) for 11.000 euros, sure.

anyway what's this fixation about bathrooms? Is he going to build a bridge over your supah dutch toilet? Or maybe a spring board?

Drekkus
08-11-2006, 14:18:21
I need a bathroom in my new house, which might not be as strange as it seems. MrG is just a designwhore, who will design anything if he's paid enough. Bathrooms, bridges, anything.

mr_G
08-11-2006, 14:25:41
paid enough

i wish that was true, my problem or actually not my problem is that i design stuff i really really laaik doing wich includes the fact that i spend way to much hours on a project. so at the end, beautiful stuff and angry taxmen.

and an underwaterbridge jesjes

Fact is that drekkus and his wife were the first ones who saw the design of the underwaterbridge, you should have seen their faces

You could spend 5 mins on a bathroom for Drekkus. What do you need in a bathroom? Bath, shower, toilet, sink and a little cupboard. Randomly put them in the space, and have a competition at Counterglow to write the architectural bullshit for why it's a brilliantly brilliant design. Then hire the cheapest eastern european contractor you can, charge Drekkus 11,000 Euros and spend like 3000. Easy.

Doesn't matter in the sense that your payments won't change for the 12 years.

Good for you in the sense that you can gloat about your low interest rates at dinner parties.

Bad for you in the sense that you cannot refinance at a better rate.

What % interest rate do you pay?

mr_G
08-11-2006, 14:32:39
 @ Dyl man o man you are funny

Got a better idea for the bathroom.

No toilet! Drekkus pisses in the sink anyway.

Even more architechtural and arty.

Mrs Drekkus can poep in the bath.

Funko
08-11-2006, 14:40:34
Poep in the bath, is like the ultimate dutch toilet with inspection plate.

So we have a bathroom with no toilet.

The bath is the ultimate dutch inspection plate poep place with a nice plug so big lumps can wash away.

And the sink is a nice drekkus urinal.

I think it's brilliantly brilliant.

What % interest rate do you pay? Uhm, I forgot. :o 4,2% I think. It's higher now, so I guess we were just in time.

What % interest rate do you pay?

Depends on how you want to leverage your debt/equity position and that depends on whether or not you have mainstream views about the future.............

Expectations + position = innuedno (at least on this site :))

there is no correct answer

Dyl Ulenspiegel
12-11-2006, 12:46:57
I hate mainstream views.
