Sorry if a thread already exists for this...

If you haven't seen it it's basically about Hitlers last few months in his bunker with his top soldiers, generals and told through the eyes of his secretary.

The acting particularly by the lead was absolutely awesome and atmosphere throughout was sopt on.

Ganz is unbelievable in it. What he didn't get an Oscar just baffles me.

Didn't recognize this at first, but this is 'Der Untergang', right? I still haven't seen it, but it's apparently well worth watching. I definitely intend to do so sometime in the near future.

Because Oscars are all about lobbying members of the Academy and it would be seem as unacceptable for a presentation of that character to win...?
