Music or Tech forum? Who knows?

Anyway, the question is:

Is there any way I can trigger CV events directly from the sequencer or do I have to use the fiddly and annoying Matrix thing? I mean, say I want to fade in a particular track, do I have to play around with three different matrix curve patterns or some shit like that or can I do it through some other device?

CV = control voltage? You mean triggering an analog sound source?

I would have thought the easiest thing would be ato automate the volume fader (either on the mixer or the devicer in question.)

right click - Edit Automation, then you can do it in real time. Otherwise "draw in" a volume curve on the control lane of the device you want.

Oh you can do that? See, I'm just starting out.

RC: Yes, the program fakes a number of analogue sound devices. It's fairly cool.

Well, that just made half the work I did yesterday totally pointless.

Why is the pitch wheel set to do that automatically but none of the other controls, do you know?

What do you mean? The pitch wheel works in the same way as all the other buttons no?

Yeah, except it's set to automatisation by default, making me think none of the other buttons had that feature!
