KG, you are matching your insight with the average BBC viewer.

The average BBC viewer is a paid up member of the Flat Earth Society and sometimes the Orange Order as well.

Such people would instinctively reach for their shovels to dig nuke shelters if they were not informed that it isn't necessary - and is fuck all use anyway.
