Davis questions:

1) Is Pluto's good to eat at? (right next to Fuzio's)
2) Are there any oriental eateries you would recommend I not go to (because they are EVERYWHERE).
3) What about that Pasta place by the amtrak station? It any good?

I went to Togo's..i'm starting safe and going to get braver from there.

Best bet is to just try them all and then you will know. ;)

Either that or ask other students or read the student paper. Typically they write reviews of different restaurants and clubs. At least the ones at UCSB and UCSD did so I'm guessing UCD won't be far different.

When Pluto's first opened it was crap. I about vomitted and haven't back. However, my wife use to go all the time. Though she never got me to go back.

As for Asian, I would avoid Wok n' Roll. Great Wall by Togos use to have a great lunch buffet. Any of the Thai restaurants are good. And Fussions, which is a Fusio spin off, is also good, but not downtown.

Cafe Italia by Redrum Burger (which is what I assume you mean) was excellent, especially for breakfast... as strange as that sounds.

Steve's Pizza also has great sandwhiches.
