The current lease on my car is ending at the end of this year. What new car should I choose?

So far I've been looking at:
-Volvo V50
-Saab 93 estate
-Ford S-Max
-VW Passat (expensive)
-Audi A4 Avant (if only)

All of them have their pro's and cons, so I'm still undecided.

Other options are welcome as well.

Well the fact that youa re leasing a car means you probably should go this route.

Saabs break down according to a friend of mine who owned one. I'd lean towards the VW just because I like the Passat.

I like the passat, it has a lot of space, and it's a good quality car. But it's not anything special to look at, and I think it might be just outside the price range

-Volvo V50

Very nice, but rather small and a bit expensive for a brushed up Ford focus.

-Saab 93 estate

Poor Saab, now GM's dustbin.

-Ford S-Max

Probably the best value for money in your list.

-VW Passat (expensive)

And ugly, but that's a matter of taste. Estate?

-Audi A4 Avant (if only)

Very nice, but rather small and very expensive.

We'll need a car next year or 2008, and we're also looking at Mazda6, Peugeot 307SW and maybe the new mondeo.

I drove the S-Max this weekend, and I was pretty impressed. It's drives great, doesn't look as big as an MPV, but has a LOT of space. Even Top Gear was very positive about it.

I'm not much into asian brands, but the toyota avensis doesn't look bad. The new Mondeo looks nice too, just saw the latest pictures this weekend. But it comes too late to be an option.

So, Dyl, you are talking in the WE mode now, eh? :D
